Formill FT31 Review 2026: 12% Incline Ultra-Quiet Walking Pad

Formill FT31 Review 2026: 12% Incline Ultra-Quiet Walking Pad 🏃♂️⚡

Most walking pads are flat. The Formill FT31 has a 12% incline — and that changes everything about how effective your under-desk workout can be. 🏔️

If you‘ve been shopping for a walking pad for your home office, you‘ve probably noticed they all look pretty similar. Flat belt. Small motor. Remote control. They do the job — but after a few weeks, walking on a flat surface at 4 km/h starts to feel less like exercise and more like standing in a slow-moving queue.

The Formill FT31 takes a different approach. It‘s one of the few compact walking pads that adds a 12% adjustable incline — a feature that transforms a casual stroll into a genuinely challenging workout. Combined with a 2.5HP motor, <35dB ultra-quiet operation, and smart APP connectivity, the FT31 is designed for people who want their walking pad to actually make a difference.

Let‘s dive into what makes the Formill FT31 one of the most compelling walking pads of 2026. 👇

🏔️ 12% Incline: The Feature That Changes Everything

Here‘s the thing about walking on a flat surface: your body adapts to it. After a week or two, you‘re not really challenging your muscles anymore. The FT31‘s 12% incline solves that problem.

What 12% incline means for your workout:

As one reviewer put it: “The incline feature really adds a good challenge to my daily walking routine”. Another noted: “I like the incline option for a slightly more intense workout”.

Adjustable incline: The FT31‘s incline is manually adjustable — you can set it to flat for recovery days or crank it up to 12% for a serious burn. It‘s not automatic, but the trade-off is simplicity and reliability.

🔇 Ultra-Quiet Motor: Exercise Without Disturbing Anyone

One of the FT31‘s standout features is its ultra-quiet operation.

Powered by a 2.5HP motor, the FT31 operates at below 35dB according to manufacturer specifications — that‘s quieter than a normal conversation and roughly equivalent to a whisper.

What <35dB means for you:

As one verified buyer put it: “Quiet motor and smooth running surface. Perfect for working from home while getting some steps in”. Another noted it‘s “so quiet that I can walk while on calls and meetings”.

📏 Space-Saving Design: Folds to Just 5cm

Space is a premium in most homes and offices. The FT31 solves this with its ultra-slim folding design.

Key design features:

What this means for you:

• 🏠 Slide it under the sofa, bed, or closet

• 🏢 Tuck it away when not in use — no dedicated gym space needed

• 🚀 Set up in seconds — unfolds and ready to use

📱 Smart APP + Remote Control: Simple and Connected

The FT31 keeps things simple and intuitive while adding smart features.

Key control features:

• Smart APP (Fitshow) — works with iOS and Android, tracks progress over days and weeks

• Remote control — adjust speed and incline without bending down

• LED display — real-time feedback on speed, distance, time, and calories

• Custom workout goals — set target time, distance, or calorie burn; the pad beeps when you hit it

What the APP lets you do:

• Track speed, distance, time, calories, and incline level

• Set weekly goals and receive reminders

• Sync with Bluetooth for a fully connected experience

🛡️ Safety & Build Quality: Built for Real Use

The FT31 is engineered for daily use with a focus on safety and durability.

Key safety features:

Build quality impression: The FT31 uses aluminum alloy in its construction and arrives fully assembled — unpack and start using immediately.

📊 FT31 vs FT33: What‘s the Difference?

The FT31 is the upgrade choice for riders who want incline capability, smart connectivity, and higher weight capacity. The FT33 is simpler and more affordable — perfect if you just want a basic flat walking pad.

🎯 Who Is the FT31 For?

⚠️ What to Keep in Mind

Not for running: The FT31 is designed for walking, with a top speed of 6 km/h. If you want a running treadmill, consider the Formill FT51 (10 km/h) or FT61 (13.5 km/h).

Manual incline: The 12% incline is manually adjustable — you set it before your workout, not during. This keeps the design simple and reliable.

Real-world noise: While manufacturer specs say <35dB, actual noise levels may be slightly higher depending on the surface and speed. One reviewer noted it‘s “quiet enough to walk while on calls”.

Fully assembled: The FT31 arrives ready to use — no assembly required. Just unpack and plug in.

Power requirements: Operates on 220-240V, 50/60Hz — check your local compatibility.
